Extraordinary results speak for themselves We provide a free consultation to see if you are a good candidate for our diet plan. Yes, it is. Our diet is based on your body metabolism, the need for your body, and portion-controlled. You should expect weight loss as a rate of 5-15lbs in Phase 1, 0.5 to 2lbs, or more a week in Phase 2. Most patients receive 3-5 treatments per area. The exact number will depend on each individual person and the area being treated. Your family will eat the same food as you. These recipes are. Make sure your skin is clean. Do not apply any lotions, creams, or makeup before your session, and stop advised to shave the area before your treatment. Remove all jewelry around the area being treated. Could you stay on this plan for an extended period of time without getting bored or feeling deprived? Make sure there are enough variety and choice. Diet plans that eliminate entire food groups, never allow for an occasional treat or require the same few choices each day will usually fail, even for the most motivated and disciplined dieters. Does the diet include group support through in-person meetings, online forums, or call-in counselors? If you are the type of individual who needs and wants support, make sure it is available. Aside from having a place to go to with questions or for encouragement when commitment falters, being part of a group can make dieting a lot more fun. If there is an endpoint, do you have a strategy in place that will allow you to ease into a lifelong plan? Ultimately, you want your diet to be a pathway to a sustainable way of eating that will nourish you properly and keep you at your healthy weight for years to come. Listen to your gut! If the plan doesn’t feel right, it’s probably not right for you. Should you expect weight loss at a reasonable rate of .5 to 2 pounds a week, or is it promising a quick fix? If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. When looking at the list of permissible foods or meal plans, they should be pleasing and varied enough that you will look forward to your meals and snacks. If there is a big ''yuck'' factor, the chance that you’ll stick to the plan is slim to none. If you don't have time in your schedule to shop for exotic ingredients and cook complicated dishes, a plan that requires a lot of food preparation will likely frustrate you. You'd be better off with a plan where the food choices are more basic and quick to prepare, or you might even try a diet service that offers pre-made, portion-controlled foods, and drinks. Do you want your diet plan to allow room for creativity, or do you like the structure of being told what to eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day? If you don’t live alone, it might be best to choose a plan that the entire family can follow--or accept that you might have to prepare separate meals to meet everyone's needs. One session usually lasts 15-20 minutes, depending on the area being treated. The IPL treatment feels like a light snap or flick on the surface of the skin. The applicator has a cooling feature built into it to make the treatment as comfortable as possible, but you might feel a bit of discomfort if you’re treating a more sensitive area, like the upper lip. If you find it too uncomfortable, let the operator know and they can adjust the treatment accordingly. Your skin may feel warm, like a sunburn, and can remain red for anywhere from a few hours to a day. Be sure to follow instructions for before and after your treatment. It really depends on how your skin reacts to the treatment and how you care for your skin afterward. For example, if you protect your skin from the sun, the results will last longer. We recommend one touch-up session every 3-6 months, depending on your skin responds to the treatment. There is no downtime. You can return to your daily schedule immediately after your treatment. Avoid tanning for at least 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after your treatment, and wear sunscreen. You should also avoid hot baths, massages, or any treatment that requires direct contact with the skin for the first 2 days after your treatment. Yes, you can apply makeup immediately after your treatment, but make sure you put on sunscreen first.
